What is MPI Approval?
The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) is the government body responsible for New Zealand’s food safety and primary sector standards. This means the Northfork selected MPI approved products such as a detergent, sanitiser, or spray-on wipe-off have passed technical assessment by the MPI.
The MPI approvals confirm that when used as directed, Northfork products can be used to clean or maintain facilities and equipment processing non-dairy animal products, like meat plants and commercial kitchens.
Each product has a specific MPI approval code that provides the conditions of where and how they can be used.
